VerbTeX LaTeX Editor
VerbTeX is a free LaTeX Editor for iPhone that allows users to create and manage LaTeX projects directly on their iOS device. With VerbTeX, users can generate PDFs by using Verbosus, an online LaTeX Editor. The software offers two modes: Local Mode and Cloud Mode.
In Local Mode, VerbTeX provides automatic Dropbox and Box synchronization, as well as iCloud integration. Users can choose between PdfTeX or XeTeX to generate PDFs and use BibTeX or Biber for bibliographies. The editor also supports syntax highlighting, line numbers, and autosave. In Cloud Mode, users can synchronize their projects with Verbosus and access them via a web interface. Two-factor authentication is available in combination with Copiosus. The software also allows users to export the generated PDFs to other apps that support PDF handling.
The free version of VerbTeX has certain limitations, including a maximum of 2 projects, 2 documents per project, and 4 file uploads per project in Local Mode. However, the Pro version offers unlimited projects, documents, and file uploads.
